Large or small workplace accidents involving electricity regularly occur on the construction site.
That is why the legislation provides for specific training for those who work near electrical installations.
This course is aimed at workers on construction sites without prior electrical knowledge who do not carry out electrical interventions themselves.

Of this training, we also organise a BA4 warned course or a specific BA4 for electricians. Qualified persons who carry out interventions in the electrical cabinet themselves should rather follow the BA5 qualified course.

WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?
The competence of persons characterised by the code BA4 or BA5 is assigned to workers by the employer and set down in a document that clearly determines for which work and for which electrical installations the competence is valid (RD 25-04-2004, art. 3.2).
The employer ensures the necessary training of workers and provides the necessary instructions to avoid the risks inherent in the use, operation of and work on the electrical installation, taking into account the tasks assigned to these workers. (Code, book III, title 2)
