Along with the hedge trimmer and brush cutter, the chainsaw is a widely used machine in green spaces.

After an introduction on safety and how the chainsaw works, we start by practising the various cuts by cutting into ever thinner slices.

WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?

Any workstation where work equipment is used, where motor vehicles, cranes, overhead cranes, lifting devices of any kind, or machines that start up dangerous installations or equipment are operated, or where service weapons are carried, is regarded as a safety function, insofar as the use of that equipment, the operation of those machines and installations or the carrying of those weapons may endanger the safety and health of other workers of the company or of outside companies. Workers performing a safety function must have a certificate of medical fitness (Code, book I, title 4).
