An overhead crane has a hoist that moves in two directions. Perpendicular to the direction of travel is a trolley or movable hoist that can reach any point within the crane runway. It is operated by remote control or push-button. This gives you a good view of slinging the load and the transport route through the hall.
It is best to combine this overhead crane training with the "Slinging loads: rigging" training. Experienced operators can also opt for our new 1-hour overhead crane competence test.

WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?
Self-propelled mobile work equipment may only be operated by workers who have received adequate training in the safe operation of this equipment (Code, book IV, title 3)
Any workstation where work equipment is used, where motor vehicles, cranes, overhead cranes or lifting devices of any kind are operated, is regarded as a safety function (Code, book I, title 4)
The purpose of safety and health signage is to draw attention, quickly and in an easily understandable way, to objects, activities and situations that may cause certain hazards (Code, book III, title 6, annexes 1-9)
